MeetMe Malaysia FAQ


1. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK? CAN I PAY LATER AFTER THE EVENT?
You must book in advance and you need to pre-pay. This is because we have to confirm who is coming in order to organize the event with an equal number of men and women.

2. HOW DO I BOOK A SLOT?
To book a slot online simply fill out the Registration Form with true and accurate details followed by payment details. You will receive a confirmation of your booking and event details via email.

3. I DON'T HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS, CAN I STILL JOIN?
No. All applicants are compulsory to have a valid email address to register with MeetMe Malaysia as confirmation of your booking, event details and payment details will be sent to you via email.

4. How much does MeetMe Malaysia charge per pax?
It's typically RM250/pax for all your evening's entertainment, inclusive of a complimentary drink and light food.

5. HOW DO I PAY?
You may pay by Visa or MasterCard via our secure online system. If you don't have one of these credit cards you can pay by Paypal.

6. HOW LONG DOES EACH EVENT LAST?
We do our best to keep the event running to schedule which means the event will last for 1 hour plus including a 15 minute of pre-briefing.
If some people are running late and the event does not start on time then obviously there are allowances but not usually any more than a ten minute delay.

7. DO MANY PEOPLE COME ON THEIR OWN?
About most of them do - our host will make a point of ensuring you are comfortable. If you do come alone, don't be afraid to chat to other daters before the dating
starts. Everyone will be very friendly and other people who are alone will welcome you chatting to them.

8. CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
No, you can't as each events organized by MeetMe Malaysia are for the selected applicants and to avoid overcrowding at the venue.

9. CAN I GO TO MORE THAN ONE MeetMe Malaysia EVENT?
Yes of course. The dynamics at each event are different due to the fact it's a different crowd each time. The more people you meet the better your chances of finding exactly who you are looking for.

10. WILL I MEET THE SAME PEOPLE IF I ATTEND ANOTHER EVENT?
You may meet one or two people that you have seen before, but the majority will be new faces.

11. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We don't operate a strict dress code however we suggest you to dress like you are going out on a date. This is not a fashion show. The main thing is to be confident and be yourself and the easiest way to do this is to dress in something you feel comfortable with but don't forget first impressions count!

12. HOW DOES THE WHOLE THING WORK?
It's an opportunity for you to meet 6 people or more, who either fancy the possibility of finding "The One" or just to make friends whilst trying something outside the square.

13. WHAT KIND OF CONTACT INFORMATION GETS EXCHANGED?
You decide what contact information you want us to give your matches. Usually it is e-mail and/or cell phone number as well as your first name for the people who you wish to see again and who wish to see you again, no-one else.

14. WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
Please be advice that MeetMe Malaysia has a strict NO REFUND POLICY for cancellations.

15. IS THE RATIO OF MEN TO WOMEN ALWAYS EQUAL?
We endeavor to run equal ratio events.

If someone cancels at the last minute and there is a waiting list we can fill the space. If there is no waiting list we will try to find someone from our database to come free of charge to fill the spot.

"No Shows" is one factor out of our control. Not only does it throw our ratio of men to women off balance, it is rude to those that expect dates and to those who are on the waiting list.
